We offer...a place to meet, to learn, to get help and support, and to have fun.

Services

Our objective is twofold: to provide needed services and to coordinate these services with appropriate community support agencies. State of Florida DOEA-certified case managers provide ongoing guidance to all seniors who need it.

Light housekeeping, shopping, laundry, and errands.

Dining opportunities are available at three locations as well as home delivery in St. Lucie County for registered individuals.

A volunteer-staffed program that helps distribute nutritious meals to individuals at home.

A safe, supervised setting for frail individuals or those experiencing physical or cognitive challenges is provided.

Assistance with bathing/showering and personal hygiene support.

We provide transportation services for all ages in St. Lucie, Martin, Indian River, and Okeechobee Counties.

Care Management is a collaborative process of assessment, planning, facilitation and advocacy for service options and community supports.

Being with peers is an important facet of our comprehensive program. We offer many entertaining activities specially developed for seniors with varying needs, even those who just like to have fun.

Supervision and assistance for individuals to provide a much needed break for caregivers who may be weary from the demands and stress of caring for a loved one.

Emotional and physical well-being is enhanced by activity and recreation.

Who is Eligible?

Programs

All residents of St. Lucie County, Florida, age 60 and older, are eligible to use the services provided by the Council on Aging. A wide range of programs and activities is designed to appeal to seniors -- both the frail and the healthy -- who seek companionship, assistance, stimulation and enrichment.
